Teal Time

Here’s another potential holiday outfit. This one not so ballerina-esque. Teal is kind of Christmassy, right? This blouse is from Gap, but I’ve posted some other options below. All three of them are great, and they’d all work with this outfit, but I really love the asymmetrical Kensie sweater. It has a pretty unique cut and I love the way it hangs.

Speaking of holidays, look how festive my hair is. (joke. har har). I really wanted to squeeze this topic in even though it’s unrelated. I never talk about hair on this blog, but I’m going to right now. I’ve been trying this unheard of thing lately where I don’t use heat tools on my hair, and these photos were taken during the beginning stages when I didn’t know how to style my hair after it’s air dried. I still have no idea. Which do I prefer? To have healthy hair that has no volume and looks messy, or volume, occasional curls, and a greater chance of split ends? I know when it comes down to it, it’s just hair. But I’d love to be one of those girls that you compliment and they reply, “Oh this? This is my natural wave. I just washed it and left to run errands.” If you are one of those girls, I’m so envious. I don’t know if there’s a magical product that gives you awesome hair without heat tools, or if it’s all in the hair cut, but I want the secret.

Maybe next time you see me, I’ll be unrecognizable because I unlocked the great hair achievement. Doubtful, but a girl can dream.
